Shepherding in the Church
Thank the Lord for His caring for us as the Chief Shepherd! May the Lord use every member of His Body to shepherd the Body in love and in mutuality. Pray that every brother and sister in the church would care for and be cared for by another saint!
UC Berkeley - Spring Semester
May the Lord bless the campus labor for this new semester that many students will come to know and enjoy Him more! Pray for the strong beginning of the campus Bible studies this week and specifically for 10 new students to be consistent at the Worship and Ministry Series.
Minneapolis
-Blending Lord's Table with the church in Minneapolis this Lord's Day (Jan 31) - 9:30am
Pray that at least 30 saints would migrate to Minneapolis by the end of 2021. Pray for the working and living situations for the ones already moving. Pray for the campus outreach this week to pass out 500 welcome packet and the welcome activity tomorrow. Also pray for the establishing of 5 home meetings.
On Tuesday and Wednesday last week, we passed out all 500 welcome packets at the UM. Even though the weather was cold, the students were happy to receive them. We are praying for 25 new contacts from this activity. Pray that we would have at least 30 students attend our welcome activity this Wednesday evening (1/27).
FTTA
The Spring 2021 term will start remotely with the possibility of returning in-person in Anaheim when it can be done in a safe manner. Tentatively, remote gospel trips are being planned near the end of the term. The extension training in Boston (FTTA-XB) is on a similar schedule as FTTA and will participate in the gospel trips.
Pray for the incoming trainees for Spring 2021, that the Lord would have His way and gain the adequate number of 1st term trainees for next term which begins Wednesday, February 3, 2021.
