Special Prayer for GTCA during the COVID-19 Pandemic (from beseeching.org)
Dear Saints,
We hope that you are resting in the Lord’s presence and enjoying His grace. We are continuing to closely monitor the situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. In this time of anxiety, fear, and distress, please pray for all the dear saints, and especially for those in the GTCA cities:
To be comforted by the peace of God, which surpasses every man’s understanding, by casting all their anxiety on Him through prayer and petition with thanksgiving.
To be strengthened and encouraged to continue to meet together virtually. May this situation facilitate all the members being brought into function.
To be supplied in continuing to shepherd new ones and those under their care, whether virtually, by phone, or in twos and threes.
May the Lord cause this situation to work for good to those who love Him (Rom. 8:28). In Romans 8:28, footnote 3 on “good” says:
“According to the context, the good here is not related to physical persons, matters, or things. It refers to our gaining more of Christ, to our having Him wrought into our being, that we may be transformed metabolically and may eventually be conformed to His image, the image of the Son of God (v. 29), that is, that we may be brought into the full sonship.”
In addition, we want to assure the saints that despite the current situation, the burden for GTCA has not diminished. Let us not be deterred, but be strengthened with boldness and continue to intercede for the Lord’s move in these 10 cities. Ephesians 6:10 and 13 say:
“Finally, be empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength…Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
As a practical reminder, please continue to check the CDC website for guidelines on how to limit the spread of this virus:

UC Berkeley Incoming Class
Admission decisions for the incoming UC Berkeley class will come out next Thursday, March 26. Pray for a good class of freshmen from the churches who would have a heart to pursue the Lord in their college years and for people to be saved and come into the church life! Pray that many seekers and unbelievers would be open and hungry for the Lord and for the church.
